Recently, several supermarkets have set up quiet corners in their wine department. Here, you can pick the wine and directly consume it. With some of these supermarkets (BEN's) having food outlets as well, one can even add a pizza. Or an Oyster if one is so inclined.
The advantage is that one does not have to clean up the mess afterwards, nor is supply a problem. However, one has to content with other shoppers (Typically housewives in sweaty spandex after their urban hot aerial yoga, dragging screaming kids around) judging the proceedings of those exploring the place.
Next time I will bring the cheese knives and wooden boards to assemble some charcuterie.
